Gerald Held
Director
Dr. Held is currently a consultant, advising early stage ventures. In 1998, Held was “CEO-in- residence” at the venture firm Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers. Through 1997, he was senior vice president of Oracle Corporation's server product division, leading a division of 1,500 people.
Held also spent 18 years at Tandem Computer in several senior management positions, including chief technology officer, senior vice president of strategy, and vice president of new ventures. He is also chairman of the board of directors of Software Development Technologies.
